Mmmm... Mexican Food

Hola!
Sorry we haven't blogged in a couple weeks but we are still travelling the sunny, hot beaches of Mexico! While in Mexico, Ms. Moffatt sprained her foot playing ball hockey against the grade 4s and 5s. You wouldn't believe this but the grade 4s and 5s won!! At least she got a goal before her injury.

In Mexico, we are learning about the Mexican food like....
The melting sweet chocolate
The cheesy inside of a burrito
The stickiness of the caramel in the chocolate
The quesadilla with lots of cheesy meaty ingredients
The sugary taste of a churro
The crunchy taco chips and salsa
The crunching and munching of a greasy taco....
And the plain refried beans.

Did you know $20 in Canada is worth 240 Mexican pesos?
There are 2000 centavos in 20 pesos.
By the way, pesos are like dollars and centavos are like cents in Mexico!

Tomorrow we are going to see a volcanoe erupt and we are going to hike up so we can see it!!! We are also going to learn about volcanoes!

Could we have Mexican food for supper pleeeeease?
