The Week of Spirit

Monday we started non-standard measurement and we used CHOCOLATE CHEERIOS! They were delicious!! P.S When we were done our measuring we ate our cheerios!!

This week was MILK SPIRIT WEEK!!! Monday was moustache monday, Tuesday was dress up like a farmer day, Wednesday was White-Out Wednesday, Thursday was spotted cow day AND today is 'jersey' cow day!! Check out the pictures below of our clothes!! A lot of people won prizes for funniest cow jokes and mystery moo-ers and counting cows around the school!

We started new math centers!! The centers are iPad, white board math with Ms. Moffatt, measuring school supplies with non-standard things like cotton balls, pennies, bears, etc. The other centers are smartboard, measuring spiders and bats with rulers and measuring the room!!!

We had a special presenter come talk to us about protecting LAKE WINNIPEG! It was IAN'S MOM!! She taught us why there is phosphorous in the water and what we can do to save the lake!! We all made a rain drop with how we will save the lake!!

We tried to reverse water pollution. We realized it was WAY harder than we thought. It showed us how much the lake can actually have it and it isn't easy to clean!!! We need to make sure we don't pollute our water!!!

This was the CLEANEST water we could get!!!

Time for SPRING BREAK!!!!
See you in two weeks!

Love,
